Wizen Tablet 2mg
Wizen Tablet 2mg contains risperidone, an antipsychotic medicine prescribed for schizophrenia, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and behavioural symptoms in autism. Risperidone works by modifying the activity of dopamine and serotonin in the brain, helping reduce hallucinations, delusions, agitation, aggression, disorganized thinking, and mood changes. It should only be used under supervision. Take Wizen as prescribed, with or without food. The dose depends on age, diagnosis, response, and medicines. Do not stop unless instructed, as symptoms may return or withdrawal effects may occur. Side effects include sleepiness, dizziness, restlessness, headache, appetite changes, weight gain, constipation, and movement symptoms. Rise from sitting or lying positions to reduce dizziness. Avoid alcohol and do not drive until its effects are known. Seek help for high fever, muscle stiffness, confusion, uncontrolled movements, fainting, seizures, allergic reaction, or erection. Risperidone may increase blood sugar, cholesterol, prolactin, and weight; checks may be required. It is not recommended for dementia-related psychosis because of mortality risk in adults. Consult a doctor in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Store at room temperature, away from moisture, and keep out of children’s reach.
