Serlin Tablets 100mg contain sertraline hydrochloride, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used under medical supervision to manage depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Sertraline works by increasing the availability of serotonin, a chemical messenger involved in mood, emotional balance, and anxiety regulation. Treatment may help improve mood, interest in daily activities, sleep, concentration, and anxiety symptoms, although full benefit can take several weeks. Take Serlin exactly as prescribed, usually once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. The tablet should be swallowed with water. Do not change the dose or stop treatment suddenly, as gradual reduction may be required to prevent discontinuation symptoms. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, dry mouth, sleep changes, tiredness, increased sweating, and reduced sexual function.
