Semaxa Tablet 7mg

Semaxa Tablet 7mg

Semaxa 7mg Tablets contain oral semaglutide, a prescription medicine used alongside diet and exercise to help adults manage type 2 diabetes. Semaglutide acts like a natural hormone called GLP-1. It helps the body release insulin when blood sugar is high, reduces glucagon release and slows stomach emptying. Your doctor will decide whether this strength is suitable for your treatment plan. Take Semaxa exactly as prescribed, on an empty stomach when you wake up. Swallow the tablet whole with a small amount of plain water, no more than 120ml. Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else or taking other oral medicines. Do not split, crush or chew it. Follow your prescriber’s instructions about starting doses and any dose changes. Never adjust doses yourself. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort. Contact a doctor promptly if you develop severe, persistent stomach pain or cannot keep fluids down. Tell your doctor if you use insulin or a sulfonylurea, as low blood sugar may occur with these medicines. Discuss pregnancy, breastfeeding and any history of pancreatitis before treatment.
