Rosulin 10mg Tablet contains rosuvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering medicine from the statin group. It works by blocking HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme the liver uses to produce cholesterol. This helps reduce LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and apolipoprotein B while modestly increasing HDL cholesterol. When combined with diet, exercise, and lifestyle measures, Rosulin can help control abnormal lipid levels and reduce cardiovascular risk in patients. Doctors may prescribe Rosulin for primary hypercholesterolaemia, mixed dyslipidaemia, inherited high cholesterol, or prevention of cardiovascular events in people with risk factors.
