Rhilor-D 5mg/60mg Tablets contain loratadine and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. This combination is used for temporary relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms accompanied by nasal congestion. Loratadine is a second-generation antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, helping reduce sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and watery or itchy eyes. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that narrows swollen blood vessels inside the nasal passages, making breathing easier and reducing sinus pressure. Rhilor-D should be taken only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist, particularly in people with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, glaucoma, kidney disease, or difficulty urinating. Possible side effects include dry mouth, headache, dizziness, nausea, nervousness, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, or a faster heartbeat. Avoid taking it close to bedtime if it causes sleeplessness. Do not combine it with other cold, allergy, or decongestant products unless a healthcare professional confirms it is safe.
