Rezna 80mg Tablet contains resmetirom, a thyroid hormone receptor-beta agonist used with diet and exercise for adults with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and moderate to advanced liver fibrosis, without cirrhosis. MASH was previously known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Resmetirom acts mainly in the liver, where activation of thyroid hormone receptor-beta helps reduce liver fat and supports improvement in liver inflammation and scarring. Rezna is a specialist prescription medicine and is not intended for simple fatty liver, weight loss, or unsupervised use. Treatment should begin only after a physician confirms the diagnosis and assesses fibrosis, liver function, weight, medical history, and other medicines. Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, with or without food, and continue the recommended diet, physical activity, laboratory tests, and clinical follow-up.
