Piozer-G Tablet 30/2mg contains pioglitazone 30mg and glimepiride 2mg, two antidiabetic medicines used with diet and exercise to improve blood glucose control in people with type 2 diabetes. Pioglitazone increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin, helping tissues use glucose more effectively. Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release insulin after meals. Their actions help reduce blood sugar when one medicine is insufficient. Take Piozer-G as prescribed, usually with the meal of the day. The dose depends on blood glucose readings, treatment response, and medicines. Do not skip meals after taking it, and monitor glucose as directed. Side effects include low blood sugar, weight gain, swelling, headache, dizziness, and stomach discomfort. Symptoms of hypoglycaemia may include sweating, shaking, hunger, confusion, or a heartbeat; treat according to advice. Seek urgent care for breathlessness, swelling, chest discomfort, jaundice, or an allergic reaction. Piozer-G is unsuitable for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis and requires caution in heart, liver, or kidney disease.
