Mosegor Syrup 120ml contains pizotifen, a medicine commonly prescribed to help prevent recurrent migraine and certain cluster headaches. It works by blocking the effects of serotonin, histamine, and tryptamine, natural substances involved in the development of some headaches. Regular use may help reduce how often migraine attacks occur and lessen their severity; however, it is not intended to provide immediate relief during an active attack. Pizotifen may also stimulate appetite, so some patients may experience increased hunger and weight gain while using it. Other possible side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, tiredness, or constipation. Because sleepiness can occur, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
