Medisign Blood Lancets (50 pcs) are sterile, single-use medical lancets designed for safe, hygienic, and virtually painless capillary blood sampling. Manufactured with fine 28-gauge stainless steel tri-bevel needles, they operate by making a quick, micro-puncturing incision through the stratum corneum of the fingertip. This rapid penetration stimulates adequate microvascular blood flow to produce a capillary blood droplet with minimal tissue trauma, reduced nerve activation, and minimized discomfort for the user. Clinically, Medisign Blood Lancets are indicated for obtaining capillary blood specimens required for routine blood glucose monitoring, HbA1c screening, ketone testing, and other point-of-care diagnostic procedures in diabetic individuals and healthcare settings. Prior to use, the patient's hands should be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap or sanitized with an alcohol swab. The sterile protective cap is twisted off, the lancet is loaded into a standard lancing device, and the puncture site is pricked. After collection, the needle tip should be shielded and immediately discarded into a designated biohazard sharps container. These lancets are strictly single-use and contraindicated for reuse or sharing between individuals to prevent cross-contamination, blood-borne pathogen transmission, and tissue inflammation.
