Levoser Tablets 5mg

Levoser Tablets 5mg

Levoser Tablets 5mg contain levocetirizine dihydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve symptoms caused by allergic reactions. It works by blocking histamine at H1 receptors, helping reduce sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, watery or irritated eyes, itching, and raised skin rashes known as urticaria or hives. Levoser may be prescribed for seasonal allergies, year-round allergic rhinitis caused by dust or pets, and chronic urticaria. Its action can provide symptom control for approximately 24 hours in many patients, although individual responses vary. Take the tablet exactly as advised, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow it with water and avoid taking more than the recommended dose. Levocetirizine may cause sleepiness, tiredness, dizziness, or dry mouth in some people. Avoid driving, operating machinery, and consuming alcohol until you know how it affects you. Inform your doctor about kidney disease because dose adjustment may be necessary. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, older adults, and children should use it only on professional advice. Seek urgent help if facial swelling, breathing difficulty, or a severe allergic reaction develops at any time during treatment.
