Jilifen 300 µg Injection contains filgrastim, a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) that stimulates the bone marrow to produce neutrophils, a type of white blood cell essential for fighting infections. It is commonly used to manage neutropenia (low neutrophil count), particularly in patients receiving chemotherapy for cancer, where the risk of infection is high. Jilifen is indicated for reducing the duration and severity of neutropenia in conditions such as chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, bone marrow transplantation, and certain chronic neutropenic disorders. It may also be used to mobilize peripheral blood stem cells for collection prior to transplantation. The injection is administered subcutaneously or intravenously under medical supervision, with dosage individualized based on body weight, clinical condition, and response to therapy.
