Hifero Tablet
Hifero Tablet contains iron polymaltose complex equivalent to 100 mg elemental iron and folic acid 0.35 mg. It is used to prevent and treat iron and folate deficiency, including iron-deficiency anaemia caused by poor dietary intake, pregnancy, heavy menstrual bleeding, recovery after blood loss, or increased nutritional requirements. Iron supports haemoglobin production and oxygen transport throughout the body, while folic acid contributes to healthy red blood cell formation and normal cell division. Regular use may help improve symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, dizziness, pale skin, and reduced concentration when these are linked to deficiency. Take Hifero exactly as advised by a doctor, preferably during or after a meal if stomach irritation occurs. Common side effects may include nausea, abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhoea, and dark-coloured stools. Tea, coffee, antacids, and certain medicines may reduce iron absorption, so suitable spacing may be required. Inform your doctor about existing anaemia, digestive disorders, or other supplements. Keep the tablets away from children, as accidental iron overdose can be dangerous. Store in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight and moisture during prolonged nutritional treatment.
