GUAZE PACK

Gauze Pack contains gauze for general first aid and wound care. Gauze can be used to absorb small amounts of blood or fluid, gently clean the surrounding skin, or cover a minor wound before securing it with a bandage or medical tape. It is a useful item to keep in a home, workplace or travel first aid kit. Wash and dry your hands before handling gauze. For a minor cut or graze, rinse the wound with clean water and follow appropriate first aid instructions. If the gauze is being placed directly on an open wound, use a sterile product and avoid touching the side that will contact the wound. Replace a dressing when it becomes wet, dirty or loose. Check your pack before use: gauze products vary in size, quantity and whether they are sterile. Do not assume an opened pack remains sterile. Used gauze should be discarded safely and should not be reused. Seek medical care for a deep wound, bleeding that does not stop, or increasing redness, swelling, pain or discharge.
