Fribi Tablets 10mg
Fribi Tablets 10mg contain clobazam, a benzodiazepine medicine used as add-on therapy for seizure disorders, including epilepsy that is not controlled with medicines. Clobazam enhances the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid, a chemical messenger in the brain, helping reduce electrical activity that can trigger seizures. It may also be prescribed for anxiety in settings under medical supervision. Take Fribi as prescribed. The dose depends on age, condition, response, and other medicines. It may be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly, as withdrawal can cause anxiety, insomnia, tremors, or seizures; the dose must be reduced gradually by a doctor. Side effects include sleepiness, dizziness, tiredness, poor coordination, slowed thinking, drooling, constipation, and behavioural changes. Avoid alcohol, driving, or operating machinery until the effects are known. Combining clobazam with opioids or other sedatives can cause drowsiness, slowed breathing, coma, or death. Long-term use may lead to tolerance, dependence, and misuse. Seek urgent help for breathing difficulty, rash, suicidal thoughts, behaviour, or an allergic reaction. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only after specialist assessment. Store securely away from children and others.
