Flexia Tablets 60mg

Flexia 60mg Tablet contains etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor belonging to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug group. It is prescribed to reduce pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other painful inflammatory conditions. Etoricoxib works by blocking COX-2, an enzyme involved in producing prostaglandins that contribute to inflammation and pain. Flexia controls symptoms but does not cure the underlying joint disease. Take it exactly as prescribed, using the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration. The tablet may be taken with or without food; taking it without food may produce a faster effect. Common side effects include stomach discomfort, indigestion, nausea, headache, dizziness, ankle swelling, and increased blood pressure. Although etoricoxib selectively targets COX-2, it can still cause stomach, kidney, heart, or circulation problems. Seek urgent help for chest pain, shortness of breath, black stools, vomiting blood, severe swelling, or an allergic reaction. Inform the doctor about hypertension, heart disease, stroke, stomach ulcers, kidney or liver disease, pregnancy, and all medicines used, especially other painkillers, aspirin, anticoagulants, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, lithium, methotrexate, or ciclosporin.
