Emglif-L Tablets 10mg/5mg combine empagliflozin 10mg and linagliptin 5mg to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes alongside diet and exercise. Empagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove excess glucose through urine. Linagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release when blood glucose is elevated and reduces unnecessary glucose production by the liver. Their complementary actions help control fasting and after-meal glucose levels. The tablet is generally taken once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day; however, use the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Regular glucose monitoring, adequate hydration, balanced nutrition, and follow-up testing remain important. Emglif-L is not intended for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
