Eczemus 0.03% Ointment

Eczemus 0.03% Ointment contains tacrolimus 0.3mg per gram and is a steroid-free treatment for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in children aged two years and older. Tacrolimus is a calcineurin inhibitor that reduces immune activity in the skin, helping relieve inflammation, redness, and itching when treatments are unsuitable or have not provided control. It may be used intermittently under medical supervision. Apply a thin layer to dry affected skin as directed by a dermatologist, twice daily during an eczema flare. Rub in and wash the hands afterward unless they are being treated. Do not use on children younger than two years or cover skin with airtight dressings unless instructed. Burning, warmth, redness, itching, or tingling may occur at the application site during the first few days. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, infected skin, sunlight, and tanning lamps. Use sun protection. Seek advice if swollen glands, skin infection, irritation, or a skin lesion develops. Do not use without regular review. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Store below 30°C and keep out of children’s reach.
