Dysen Forte 1000mg Tablet contains secnidazole, a nitroimidazole antimicrobial medicine used for infections caused by protozoa and anaerobic bacteria. Doctors may prescribe it for intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, trichomoniasis, or bacterial vaginosis, depending on diagnosis. Secnidazole works after entering susceptible microorganisms and disrupting their DNA, which prevents growth and helps eliminate the infection.
