Dynetic 50mg Tablets contain itopride hydrochloride, a specialized gastroprokinetic agent utilized to treat gastrointestinal motility disorders. By simultaneously blocking dopamine D2 receptors and inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, it increases acetylcholine levels to stimulate upper digestive tract motility, accelerate gastric emptying, and provide an antiemetic effect. Clinically, Dynetic is primarily indicated for alleviating symptoms associated with functional dyspepsia and chronic gastritis, including postprandial fullness, upper abdominal bloating, early satiety, anorexia, nausea, and vomiting. The standard adult regimen is one 50mg tablet taken three times daily, strictly 30 to 60 minutes before meals on an empty stomach to optimize therapeutic absorption. Due to its mechanism of forcing muscle contractions, Dynetic is strictly contraindicated in patients with active gastrointestinal hemorrhages, mechanical obstructions, or perforations. Concomitant use with anticholinergic drugs should be avoided, as they directly antagonize itopride’s therapeutic efficacy. While generally well-tolerated, potential side effects include diarrhea, abdominal pain, headaches, and elevated prolactin levels, which may occasionally cause reversible gynecomastia.
