Duragesic Tablets contain orphenadrine citrate 35mg and paracetamol 450mg. This combination provides pain-relieving and muscle-relaxant effects for painful musculoskeletal conditions accompanied by muscle stiffness or spasms. Orphenadrine acts centrally to reduce involuntary muscle spasms, while paracetamol helps relieve pain and reduce fever. Duragesic may be prescribed for backache, neck pain, muscle strains, sprains, sports injuries, joint discomfort, and other painful muscular conditions. Take Duragesic exactly as directed by a doctor, preferably with water. It may be taken with food if stomach discomfort occurs. Do not combine it with other products containing paracetamol because excessive daily intake can cause serious liver damage. The tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or reduced alertness; therefore, avoid driving until its effects are known.
