Digesso Tablet 20mg

Digesso Tablet 20mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach. It is used to manage gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, heartburn, acid regurgitation, erosive oesophagitis, and selected stomach or duodenal ulcers. Esomeprazole may also be combined with antibiotics to treat ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori or prescribed to reduce ulcer risk in patients using certain anti-inflammatory medicines. Take Digesso exactly as directed, preferably at least one hour before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew, or split a delayed-release tablet. Common side effects include headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, gas, constipation, or diarrhoea. Longer treatment should remain medically supervised because prolonged proton pump inhibitor use may contribute to low magnesium or vitamin B12 levels, bone fractures, kidney inflammation, or intestinal infection in susceptible patients. Inform your doctor about liver disease, osteoporosis, low magnesium, or medicines such as clopidogrel, warfarin, digoxin, methotrexate, or certain antifungals.
