Desdine Tablet 5mg contains desloratadine, a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. It helps reduce sneezing, runny or itchy nose, watery eyes, skin itching, and hives by blocking the action of histamine, a natural substance released during allergic reactions. Desloratadine generally causes less drowsiness than many older antihistamines, although dizziness or sleepiness can still occur in some people. Take Desdine exactly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. The tablet may be taken with or without food and should be swallowed with water. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
