Daxolanz Tablet 60mg
Daxolanz 60mg Capsule contains dexlansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the production of acid in the stomach. It is commonly prescribed for healing erosive oesophagitis, a condition in which repeated acid reflux inflames and damages the lining of the food pipe. It may also help relieve related symptoms such as persistent heartburn, sour-tasting fluid returning to the mouth, and discomfort caused by gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. Dexlansoprazole uses a dual delayed-release system that releases medicine at two different times, helping provide extended acid control. Take Daxolanz exactly as prescribed, with or without food. Swallow the capsule whole and do not crush or chew its granules. Common side effects may include diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, gas, headache, or an upper respiratory infection. Long-term or inappropriate use of proton pump inhibitors may increase the risk of low magnesium levels or vitamin B12, bone fractures, kidney inflammation, intestinal infection, or fundic-gland polyps. Tell the doctor about liver disease, osteoporosis, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and all medicines being used, particularly rilpivirine, methotrexate, digoxin, warfarin, tacrolimus, iron products, or medicines whose absorption depends on stomach acid.
