Cubil Tablet 100mg
Cubil Tablet 100mg is a prescription heart medicine containing sacubitril 49mg and valsartan 51mg. This combination belongs to a group called angiotensin receptor–neprilysin inhibitors and is used for patients with chronic heart failure. Sacubitril increases substances that relax blood vessels and support the removal of sodium and fluid, while valsartan blocks angiotensin II, helping reduce tightening and fluid retention. Together, they reduce strain on the heart and may lower the risk of heart-failure hospitalization and cardiovascular death. Cubil should be taken exactly as prescribed by a cardiologist, commonly twice daily, with or without food. The dose depends on blood pressure, kidney and liver function, previous treatment, and tolerance. Do not start, stop, or change the dose without advice. Common side effects include low blood pressure, dizziness, increased potassium, cough, and reduced kidney function. Seek urgent help for swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Cubil must not be used during pregnancy or together with an ARB. An ACE inhibitor must be stopped for 36 hours before starting sacubitril/valsartan. Monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and potassium is required.
