Combihale Solution 0.5mg/2.5mg

Combihale Solution 0.5mg/2.5mg

Combihale Nebulising Solution 0.5mg/2.5mg contains two bronchodilators: ipratropium bromide and salbutamol. Each 2.5ml respule contains 0.5mg of ipratropium bromide and 2.5mg of salbutamol. They work in different ways to help open narrowed airways and make breathing easier. A doctor may prescribe Combihale for bronchospasm associated with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The solution is used with a suitable nebuliser, which turns it into a mist for inhalation through a mask or mouthpiece. Use it only at the frequency advised by your doctor. Do not swallow or inject the contents. Keep the nebuliser mist away from your eyes, especially if you have glaucoma. Possible side effects include dry mouth, cough, headache, shakiness or a faster heartbeat. Tell your doctor if you use other inhalers or nebuliser treatments so your care plan can be checked. Seek prompt medical attention if breathing worsens, you develop an allergic reaction, or your prescribed treatment provides less relief than expected. Check the respule and expiry date before use, and follow the packaging instructions for storage and disposal.
