Citolin Syrup contains citicoline, a neurological medicine prescribed to support recovery and cognitive function in certain brain-related conditions. Citicoline contributes to the formation of phosphatidylcholine, an important component of brain-cell membranes, and supports normal communication between nerve cells. Doctors may prescribe it as part of rehabilitation following an ischaemic stroke, head injury or other neurological disorder associated with impaired memory, attention or awareness. Its suitability and expected benefit depend on the individual diagnosis and should be assessed by a qualified doctor.
