Betaneb Tablet 2.5mg contains Nebivolol, a medicine belonging to the selective beta-blocker class. It is primarily prescribed for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension). By helping control blood pressure, it may reduce the long-term risk of complications such as heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular problems. Nebivolol works mainly by blocking beta-1 receptors in the heart, which helps slow the heart rate and reduce the force with which the heart pumps blood. It also supports relaxation of blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and helping lower blood pressure. Betaneb 2.5mg is usually taken once daily, with or without food, according to the doctor’s instructions.
