Abwo Vaginal Cream
Abwo Vaginal Cream contains clindamycin phosphate 2%, a prescription antibiotic used to treat bacterial vaginosis. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for vaginal infection, helping relieve symptoms such as unusual discharge, unpleasant odour, irritation, and discomfort. The cream is intended for intravaginal use only and is supplied with disposable applicators for accurate administration. Use ABWO exactly as prescribed by a doctor, commonly at bedtime for the recommended number of days. Complete the full treatment course even if symptoms improve earlier. Common side effects may include vaginal irritation, itching, burning, abdominal discomfort, headache, or changes in discharge. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent diarrhoea develops, as clindamycin may rarely cause bowel inflammation. Avoid sexual intercourse, tampons, and vaginal douches during treatment unless your doctor advises otherwise. The cream may weaken latex condoms or diaphragms during treatment and for several days afterward. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have inflammatory bowel disease, or have previously experienced antibiotic-associated colitis. Store below temperature stated on the pack, protect from heat and moisture, and keep out of children’s reach.
